We bought these awesome lights last week for the backyard and hung them yesterday while also cleaning up.
What's your best advice on how to deal with the post-holiday blues?
Shopping!
Always something to look forward to. Shop for a new New Years outfit. Shop for a new outfit for church, shop for your friends who are having a baby (we have to babies to shop for) or a birthday present.
Also plan a party, a birthday party or a kick off the new year with a no drinking party.
You don't really need a reason to plan a party.
Also start that new hobby you've wanted to try.
Keeping busy is the key to dealing with the blues.
It might not be in the holiday spirit, but we want to know anyway: What's the best present you received this year?

Earrings from the sweater.
I love them!!! He put them in this big box with gigantic batteries taped inside to make me think it was something else. As soon as I saw the tiffany box I cried. I cried more when I saw they were the earrings. Thats the my gingerbread man from Tiffany's. I can't believe he did all of this. Thats the best part.

You
never know what you will find here:) From me begging you to donate to
worthy causes to what I'm reading. This afternoon, I finally have
settled in to read Tales from a Travelling Mum: Navigating Europe with a Babe-in-Arms by my pal, AliceGriffin.
I've been following Alice's adventures for a while now through her
blog. It is a delightful read written by a delightful person. Great for
armchair travelers, families with a dream and those actually starting
their planning:)
Also, remember that amaryllis I saved? Look how
it has grown and not only that, a twin shoot grew from the same bulb
alongside it and now is ready to burst into bloom also!
Monty approves....... I'm learning how to use my new lens:)
